Field Role Overview

Door-to-door appointment setting.

This is a field-based, door-to-door appointment setting role.

You'll be speaking directly with homeowners in residential neighborhoods, starting conversations, and setting qualified solar appointments for Sunrun.

You are not closing systems at the door — your focus is creating opportunities for our closing team to present full solar solutions.

Simple Breakdown

You will:

  • Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods
  • Talk with homeowners face-to-face
  • Identify interest in solar savings
  • Set appointments for energy consultations

Athlete Pay 2026 is designed to reward first-year athletes with reliable income from day one, while giving you the opportunity to earn more as you grow. Here's how the pay breaks down.

$500 / SRA
First 10 deals

$500 commission on each of your first 10 Sun Run Approved (SRA) deals. An immediate boost to your earnings as you start building your pipeline.

35 / 65 Split
Deals with an Expert

On deals closed with an Expert, you keep 35% of the commission. Lean on proven closers while you sharpen your own edge.

50% CAP Advance
Up to $500

Up to $500 as a commission advance on capped deals — faster access to your earnings when deals hit the cap.

All pay is weekly

Every week. No waiting on monthly cycles.

CAP: Customer Approval Package

Expect 3–7 days after the deal is signed for the cap to come back.
